Overview of Progress in December 2021
We continue to implement measures to control the risk of C-19.
The external façade restoration / alterations continue. Scaffold erection will continue around building on Whitehall and Whitehall Place, with Whitehall elevation almost completed.
Installation of new Portland stone continues at roof level.
The internal fit out of the Hotel guestrooms is proceeding to plan.
Fit Out of the 85 residential apartments is proceeding to plan.
Work is proceeding to plan to fit out of the Hotel Spa.
Mechanical and electrical service installation works are ongoing within the Plant Rooms located in the basement levels. Works continue with the installation of the passenger and goods lifts including the new Car lifts.”
Upcoming Works – January 2021
The key items and dates for elements of works for January 2022 are as follows:
- Ongoing works inside the building for Fitout of hotel and residences.
- Start dismantling scaffold on the Whitehall Place turret.
- Start installation of Pavilion on the Quadrangle courtyard. This will require delivery on 2 abnormal loads (wide vehicle) Westminster City council require that this are done out of normal hours) delivery was authorise for 5 AM on the 19th and 26th Jan 2022. (we will keep neighbours inform if dates change)
